RIP Bernie Brillstein

Bernie Brillstein, pioneering manager and producer whose keen eye for talent led him to steer the careers of such stars as John Belushi and Jim Henson, has died. He was 77.

Sorry, Bob. I had a chancee to hear Bernie speak about recognizing and mentoring talent early 90's at Goodman Theater. He was quite a speaker and character. It was a pleasurable evening.

Is he the one who had a big fallout with Gary Schandling a few years ago? (It might have been someone else, though)

I saw his home for sale on Million Dollar Listing on BRAVO last week. I was a bit surprised ...
