At the end of an article talking about Lindsay Lohan and paparazzi, there's this on-topic revelation about
Emmy-winning actor Jay Thomas.
Thomas -- who also hosts "The Jay Thomas Show" on Sirius Satellite Radio and is a Celebrity Expert Lifeline on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" -- plays a sleazy cohort of Lohan's character in "Labor Pains." He jokes that he tried to give her a break by distracting the paparazzi.

Might he be one of those "experts" who has to advise contestants to walk away because he only knows about What Else?

That really sucks that there is that much variation. I'd be crying foul if I got some no name celebrity wanna be, while someone else gets a former million dollar winner!!!!

I wonder if being a celebrity expert is a permanent or recurring role, such that Jay is identifying himself with this title in publicity articles already? (So much for any non-disclosure agreements among celebs!)
Or should everyone who has ever answered a PAF call add "Phone-A-Friend on 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire'" to their résumé?
