Smuggling scrap metal across the border

#1 Post by Spock » Mon Jun 23, 2008 10:46 pm

I just returned from a fishing trip to Ontario and right next to our camper (we parked way back in the woods) there was a long metal cable wrapped around some trees and a heavy drum thingie-They were presumably left over logging equipment.

I loaded them into my explorer as we currently selling a lot of crap metal from home.

As I told my friends-the main reason I did it is I wanted to see what customs might say about it. But alas I got through without it being seen-it was under my camping crap and garbage.

We went to Ignace-halfway between Thunder Bay and Kenora.

Have been there the every since 2005.

I find fishing for walleyes really boring-but I love fishing for big pike-and I get some of that on this trip.

To Confessor:

Hey-I was cleaning up the woods and anyway-where I go-there ain't no signs<G>
