another good reason to vote republican

#1 Post by BigDrawMan » Wed Jun 18, 2008 8:41 pm

the senate GOP successfully filibustered a mean spirited democrat attempt to make a few dozen hedge fund managers pay income taxes.

that is wrong
i intuit BiT will agree with me on this.

In fact, I think the 15% capital gains rate they are paying on their income is too much.

I wonder how much it costs to get me and only me exempted from such laws??

i will email arlen specter

hedge fund managers are evil. I would outlaw them if I were king.

I wouldn't allow anyone to sell stuff they don't own.

You don't think a stock is going to appreciate, them buy something else. Sell 'em if you got 'em, but if you don't got them, don't sell them.
..what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? let them take arms.
~~ Thomas Jefferson

War is where the government tells you who the bad guy is.
Revolution is when you decide that for yourself.

Short selling helps make an efficient market. By your logic, most people would never be able to sell their own house, since they don't actually own it.
