Happy anniversary, Kay!

Your husband was pretty darn lucky when he found you. From what I've heard about him, you did pretty well for yourself, too.

Here's hoping for at least 30 more.

Happy Anniversary, Kay. Being married in the 30's (ours is 37 now) means something special - not sure what though. Stubborness? David is losing his hearing - maybe that's it. Who knows.

Anyone ever heard of a Mandarin Garnet? I now have a pear shaped one surrounded by 33 small round diamonds. I thought I was getting my master bedroom closet redone, but my girls thought jewelry would be a better gift. For you trivia buffs, this stone is also known as Spessartite or Spessartine...I've seen it both ways.

The ring was too big, so it's at the jeweler's being sized. Here is an article describing the stone. Apparently it was discovered in the early 1990's.

Now that is almost worth 30 years of married bliss!

Lovely!

And the kids are right, much better than a closet remodel.
