Dodgers great Davey Lopes, four-time All-Star, dies at 80

I would have never guessed 80, but thinking back, I'm 67, so yeah. My first thoughts on ages, time spans, etc. I'm mathing 55 for my age. I haven't been 55 for 12 years. But my mind is stuck on that age for me.
LOS ANGELES -- Davey Lopes, a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers' record-setting infield of the 1970s and '80s and one of baseball's premier base stealers, died Wednesday. He was 80.

The Dodgers were informed of his death in Rhode Island by his former wife, Lin Lopes.

Lopes was a four-time All-Star during his 10 years with the Dodgers. He played in four World Series, winning the 1981 championship. He holds the franchise record for most games played at second base with 1,134. His 1,145 games batting leadoff are second in the organization only to Maury Wills (1,279).
Lopes was 27 years old when he made his MLB debut on Sept. 22, 1972.
..what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? let them take arms.

Revolution is when you decide that for yourself.

Was going to mention how sad it was to see another one of the 160 players immortalized by the cult classic Nintendo game RBI Baseball had passed.

Phil Garner passed away today....
