I missed all the fun this morning

#1 Post by kayrharris » Fri May 30, 2008 12:06 pm

I missed all the fun here, but I've been babysitting all morning. I was out by the pool, so I got Chapman his first baseball hat. Here's a snapshot from my cell phone:

Just look at that face. I could stare at him for hours and never get bored.

That's a very cute person pup there. I send him a wet kiss.

I don't have a hat. My mom got me a cowboy hat once, but I didn't like it. My pumpkin suit had a hat, but I didn't like that so much either. (I mean, I love my suit, but not the thing on my head so much. I gave the hat to Lizbit and told her it was a special Halloween toy. She carried it around in her mouth long enough that I won't have to wear it ever again.)

You were very sweet to share, Annie. I think four footers are not crazy about hats. I was surprised the baby didn't pull his off, but he seemed fine with....today anyway. :D

Hey, where's the funny tee shirt?

(I just wanted to get to post 1099 before I quit posting for a while again. But still, where's the funny tee shirt?)

Also you're obviously a very mean gran, since that child always looks sad, frightened, and/or angry in every picture he takes.

Sorry, no funny shirt today. He's wearing his Polo onesie (a new word to me btw). He had a bib that said "Thank heaven for little boys" but he kept pulling it over his face so I took it off.

I didn't change my avatar...this was just a one time photo. I should still be safe as far as that's concerned. :D

He smiles most of the time....I'm just not fast enough when taking photos to get a really good picture. I do appreciate his good nature, that's for sure.

Just on the off chance that you misunderstood... I know, I should have ended with a Ha!

You take marvelous photos (either that or that he never takes a bad picture in spite of you rather than because of you. Ha!), but a happier all the time child I've never seen in my life.

Then again, my mother always said I was the best baby in the world, took 16 minutes of labour and spent all my time once I arrived smiling and laughing so much that she can't remember me ever crying. So, watch out!

And I've messed up my 1099 thing, so now I have to find 11 more things about which to opine.

I knew what you meant. He is very photogenic....as you said.. in spite of me!
He has been so good today. He even puts himself to sleep when he's tired. I just put him in his bed and he's alseep in less than 5 minutes. What could be easier than that?

Now you can reply to this and you'll be one closer to your posting goal. :D

Thanks! We're ready to see more of your sweet one as well.

I'm sitting here thinking maybe I should have said baseball cap...not hat.
You can tell I have my girl card, huh? Maybe both are acceptable. I'm sure someone here can tell me.

Hrm...dunno. I'd have said 'hat' as well. But maybe a guy should answer that question!

I'll post another pic or two when her dad gets back with the camera...the best ones haven't been downloaded yet. :-) Here are some cute ones taken with the Mac's webcam.

I'm still waiting for help on which is correct...or if both are...on the baseball cap/baseball hat thing? Don't want my grandson to have a dorky grandparent. :D

Those baby expressions are priceless, aren't they? Nina is going to be a heart breaker one of these days.

It is a cap. If a man says "baseball hat", when referring to the cap typically worn by players in uniform he is required to forfeit his man card on the spot.

The rules are different for girls I suppose.

But then aren't they always?
