RIP Troy Wagner-Comedian

By no means am I asking for any condolences or anything. I did not know him-nor did I know of him; but for some reason this death is hitting me hard.

He is from the next town over and a couple of months younger than me , given a few different choices by my parents I would have went to school there and known him in the same class. As it is, I know a lot of people from there.

Apparently, he had been in Orlando for awhile and did stand up and voice acting and other similar stuff. Then he moved back to the area about ten years ago.

I looked on-line for his act and so forth and all I could really find was in interview with him about his favorite comics and so forth.

When I look at his obit picture, I can't shake the feeling that I have seen his act on TV at some point. Does he ring any bells with anybody?

If he's the same Troy Wagner, he wrote in the Creepypasta genre, such as https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marble_Hornets

I don't think it is the same one for various reasons.

I have been channeling memories from just prior to puberty that could easily be a scene from a coming-of-age movie.

Somehow, I got on the outs with a bunch of town kids from Glenwood. I had gone with mom shopping there and I was waiting in the car. Those guys were hanging out in one of those old-style enclosed 2nd-floor decks that you used to see attached to old down town buildings. I suspect they served as fire escapes for the upstairs apartments. This overlooked the parking lot where I was waiting.

Anyway, they started making fun of me and such. I knew who a couple of them were and one was on my enemies' list (channeling Sheldon cooper) for a long-time.

I remember a later (probably the last) interaction with him-he knew who I was (but he didn't know my name)-so we must have had a few run-ins over the time period in question.

As he was a town kid from Glenwood, it is certainly possible that the deceased was part of that group.

I suspect they smoked a few cigarettes in their hangout, but they probably would have been a little too young for pot to be part of the mix (yet).
