Former head of the mercenary Wagner Group who led a mutiny against Vladimir Putin exactly two months ago. He was supposedly on board a plane that crashed shortly after takeoff from Moscow today, along with several Wagner Group top lieutenants. However, a lot of people don't think Prigozhin was on that plane.
Prighozhin's advisers told him to stay away from windows, but he didn't think they meant windows 25,000 feet in the air.

I've seen at least one report (I don't know how reliable) that the plane was brought down by anti-aircraft fire. --Bob

Russian DNA tests have confirmed that Prigozhin was one of the people killed in the plane crash. Read into that what you will.
