This is the Ukrainian soldier who volunteered to blow a bridge connected Crimea to mainland Ukraine. He realized that he didn't have enough time to retreat to safety before blowing the bridge. Rather than allowing the Russians to advance over the bridge, he blew the bridge while still on it, sacrificing his own life to slow the Russian advance and buy the rest of his unit time to regroup.
If and when Ukraine successfully repels the invasion and rebuilds the bridge, I hope they name the rebuilt bridge after him. --Bob

And speaking of meeting the moment, President Zelensky is showing what true leadership is supposed to look like. His actions demonstrate beyond peradventure that he is willing to sacrifice, not just his personal interests, but his personal safety, in support of his nation's interests. He's gonna get lots of Ukrainian babies named after him. (Maybe not just in Ukraine.) And he'll deserve it. --Bob
