FSIL is in. Got to see him only for a few minutes last night, though. I didn't get home until 9:45 because of a dinner meeting. He was beat, after taking the red-eye to Boston and () other activities. Barely able to keep his eyes open. Won't see him much today, either. He and BD are off to get their engagement photos taken, then heading further down Cape Cod to visit friends. They won't be back till late.

I'm beat, too. The fiasco of the comic book search (see the thread with subject "Losing My Mind") left me with too little sleep. Gonna be in great shape tomorrow when the wood chipper arrives. got mulch?

First to arrive, though, is the masons. Our brick front steps are falling apart. 18 years old, subject to my very amateur repair work for the last 12 or so. This past winter was harsh to them, and there's no way I can fix them this time. Got one estimate this morning, will get two more tomorrow. Unless another contractor returns my calls, we'll go with one of them. The estimate is almost secondary to whether they can do it before the wedding shower on June 28th or 29th. We had planned to get it done before the wedding anyway, but the shower has pushed up the schedule a bit.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

I especially like all of the things that you will be able to enjoy after the wedding is long over.
