The top WWTBAM prize isn't what it used to be

So, this article is about an elementary school that plays a version of WWTBAM for their kids. Nobody had become a "millionaire" when an earlier article had been published about it, but finally one has.

The crowd went wild and Matthew received the Pulaski Pride award that came with a pizza from Domino’s and a $5 gift certificate to the school store.

Matthew also got to ride in a limo with some other students to lunch at Chuck E. Cheese.
Must be inflation! :P

He can only use $1 this week and the remaining $4 can be used in increments of $0.40 per week over the next 10 weeks.

Back when I was in the classroom, I used to play Jeopardy with questions based on whatever course I was teaching. Some of the more veteran teachers thought I was nuts for not teaching the way they did. (mostly lecture)
I felt the change

Time meant nothing and never would again
