Tonight's Duel
They're making up new rules as they go along. Or special deals, depending on the situation. In this case, I thought it made sense, and they offered him an incentive to go for another duel, and he'd get to keep half his winnings if he lost. That should be a permanent rule, assuming that the show comes back for more episodes. Maybe it's is the de facto rule, but they never mentioned it before.

Glad he had the willingness to go for it and the apparent "new" rules certainly helped. I would like to think I would have been going for it all the way but nice to know you will win a little something if it doesn't pan out.
But I thought for sure he was going to blow it when he started playing conservatively in both game 4 and especially 5. But it works out for him on what appeared to be a bit of a guess when down to the final chip. Maybe he knew it but they didn't clarify that at the end that I could tell.

If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you. This is the principal difference between a dog and a man.
