5th Grader thread

First, let me channel PSM. "I can't believe you're still watching that show, Marley!" 8)

First contestant was a 27-year-old ER doctor who had scored a perfect 1600 on his SATs. He was also a Yale graduate who said he was there to redeem the honor of his school, after a poor performance by a previous Yalie contestant. And, of course, he needed to do better than any Harvard graduate who might appear on the show.

When he called on Nathan for help, Jeff mentioned that Nathan wanted to go to Harvard, since about a dozen of his family have done so.

Sadly, this contestant could not name the state that borders both Utah and Kansas. Mackenzie could have helped him, but he left his "Copy" on the table. So he dropped down to $25K.

The second contestant was some sales guy, who dropped out with $175K. During his run, they displayed a caption saying he had a 2.8 GPA in college.

Wow! A C+ average!!! :roll:

The promo for next week's 5th Grader may be of particular interest to the silvercamaro household. It's being billed as "The Firefighter vs. The Police Officer".

And the firefighter is going to have a dalmation in his rooting section! :)

Oh, golly. Whichever one will I root for? (If the policeman had the dalmatian, the choice would be much more difficult.)
