Vibes didn't help us

#1 Post by a1mamacat » Thu May 01, 2008 7:04 pm

Although I can't go into details, my son is currently in custody and goes to court in the morning.

There is a good possibility that he will be remanded into a residential program.

Oh, bummer. I'm praying for all of you.

Sauce, I have no idea what's happened, but know that eventually things will work out. Be strong. Scream and pray.
Vibes and prayers from here.

Physically, no thank goodness. There will be much psychological and emotional healing to be done tho.

Please don't blame yourself. It's probably not appropriate, but even if it were, since you can't change the past it won't do anyone any good. But beating yourself up can make it harder for you to be there for him now, when it's still possible for you to have some effect on events.

I'll have more via PM. --Bob

You did not fail him.

You are there for him now, you are praying, you are crying, you are loving, you did not fail him. He is in some trouble now, and a parent's heart sinks at this news, but you did not fail him.

I promise you, you did not fail him. That's enough of the blame game, now let's find solutions. I recommend continued prayer. I will do my part from here.

Vibing, too.
Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!

That'll be $10, please.

Oh no! I'm so sorry, Trish. Whatever happened, I truly hope things turn out as well as they possibly can. In the meantime, many hugs and prayers to you and your son.

It's just a parent's nature to blame themselves when things go wrong. Don't be too hard on yourself.

We're all here for you. Stay strong. I can't imagine how hard this must be for you. All the good vibes, prayers, thoughts and whatever else I can muster up will continue until things are better.

I'm sorry to hear about James' troubles again with the law. I will think back on my years doing juvenile court hearings and send the vibes your way.

Although I do not know the facts, I would not presume that that he is going to end up in a residential program for serious offenders. Hopefully, it is just a situation that will scare him onto the straight and narrow.

There is absolutely no doubt in anyone's mind on this bored that you love James and truly devote your life to him.

I hope he gets the help he needs and we are here for you, anytime.

Hang in there, Trish.

Love, Mom

I'm so sorry, Saucy.

The love you have for James nearly yells from the screen every time I read one of your posts. That kind of love can conquer lots of stuff.
