Something Weird Just Happened to the Bored

I used to get a + sign at the top of a thread, between the round icon and the subject line. I'd click on that to position into the thread at the newest unread post. I was looking at a post, backed out of it, and the + sign was gone.

Must be theme related since I have no idea what icon you're talking about...

For me it's an arrow to the left of the subject text. It still works OK. I didn't know until now that you could click on it to jump to the new posts. (That's in the WWBTAM Bored Posts list. If I'm already in the topic, I can click on the words "First unread post.")

For me it's an arrow. It goes away sometimes, and then I find out I'm not logged in anymore. I log in and it comes back. I'm guessing that's not what happened to you, based on the fact that you posted.

My theme (Getaway Blue) has a small ball-like icon in a cell next to the cell containing the subject line. If I have read all the posts in a thread, it is blue. If not, it is orange. If I have posted in it, there is a smaller ball (zit?) down around the 7:00 position. At the start of the subject line, there is a + sign which usually behaves as described above.

It is back to normal now, but, you're right, it looked like the Bored does when I'm not logged in. The Login/Logout toggle was still showing me as logged in, and I was able to post.

It just happened again. I logged out and back in again. I tried 2 other themes, but they had the same issue. I tried 2 other browsers, but they had the same issue, too.
