Had it narrowed down to
C or D; No-ob or em-ail.
Before Paul guessed, I thought I'd probably go with Email (mistakenly thinking that Noob isn't in the OED). Tried searching for the original meaning of Email but their
appeals section lists it as originating in the 1970s
Google's N-grams to the rescue (kind of)

Interesting
email, according the OED, has a meaning similar to enamel. It was used in the term "email ink", which was used on glass and other similar materials, and "email ombrant", which was a process that created a design with shadows on pottery. "Emailed" is a word referring to enamelled or embossed. That usage goes back to 1480 with a variant spelling.
No matter where you go, there you are.

High school in the late 1970s? Has to be Depp - the others are older than that.

If I have the 50:50 remaining, I use it. I don't think ATA or +1 will help.

Clooney is only 2 years older than Depp and would have done all of his high school in the late 70s. Depp wouldn't have graduated until the early 80s.
A child of five would understand this. Send someone to fetch a child of five.

Yep.
George Clooney is about two weeks older than me. I graduated from high school in 1979 on my 18th birthday.
Johnny Depp is two years younger. He dropped out of school in 1979.
Both were born in Kentucky.
