Good news

Mrs. Calvinator had her gall bladder removed this morning. Everything went fine, and they released her from the surgery center less than an hour after the procedure was finished.

She's sore, but seems fine otherwise.

Her mom is flying into town tomorrow evening to help take care of the calvinatorettes.

Wow, that is good news! Was this a planned surgery or did it come up at the last minute?? I'm glad she's OK and that mom is on the way. :)

I am glad that the surgery went well.

My dad's gall bladder ruptured when I was a kid. I was always told that he almost died.

One of the lawyers in my office had his gallbladder removed today also. Also uneventfully.
Suitguy is not bitter.

I am glad she is doing well. My husband's co-worker had his gallbladder out last week and is doing fine.

Esmi's husband had his removed a few weeks ago. Esmi is one of my ESL students. My mom had her's out years ago and walked around EPCOT 3 days after.

Glad Mrs C is doing fine and that your m-i-l will be taking care of the family.

Seriously, I'm glad Mrs. Calvinator is doing well. tmitsss's colleague and Esmi's husband, too.
A couple of months ago, my wife had her gall bladder and her appendix taken out at the same time. She went home a couple of hours later. It's amazing what they can do these days.

Glad to hear she's fine.

Do any of y'all happen to know whether, if somebody's been told quite a bit that they have a lot of gall, they should either look into having the gall bladder removed or fight like hell to make sure it isn't?

I'm just asking.

Wow, glad she's doing great and all is well. My sis had hers out several years ago and it had been painful prior.

My mom had her gall bladder out several years ago, and everything went smoothly. I'm very glad your wife's operation was successful, too.

It's amazing how quickly people recover (usually) from this surgery. A church member had his gall bladder removed last Wednesday and on Friday he was at church for a special meeting.
