Good news
Mrs. Calvinator had her gall bladder removed this morning. Everything went fine, and they released her from the surgery center less than an hour after the procedure was finished.
She's sore, but seems fine otherwise.
Her mom is flying into town tomorrow evening to help take care of the calvinatorettes.

A couple of months ago, my wife had her gall bladder and her appendix taken out at the same time. She went home a couple of hours later. It's amazing how quickly people recover (usually) from this surgery. I was in the hospital for almost a week when I had my gall bladder removed. That's because I developed pneumonia.
