The Boney 500: Album #60

Monday morning..back to the countdown!

60. REVOLVER-THE BEATLES (1966)

I will have to endure the disdain of many Beatles fans for ranking this so low, as many consider this to be their finest work.
Indeed, there are more than a few rock critics who concur with not only that opinion, but consider it to be the best album by
ANYONE, period. Sorry, not me. The reason is that, while there are some songs I truly love ("Here There & Everywhere", "For No
One", "And Your Bird Can Sing", "I'm Only Sleeping", and a few others, there are an equal number I am merely "meh" about
("Got To Get You Into My Life", "I Want To Tell You", etc.), and a few that....well, I really can't stand ("Love You To",
"Dr. Robert" to name a couple). Yes, believe it or not, there ARE some Beatles songs I just don't like. So, put it all together,
and this is where "Revolver" lands on MY list. Once again when it comes to the Fab Four, no Youtube, but click on the link below
to listen elsewhere.
