70. LEFTOVERTURE-KANSAS (1976)
Side 1 ("Carry On Wayward Son", "The Wall", "What's On My Mind", "Miracles Out Of Nowhere") is the reason this makes
the list. Side 2 has never done much for me, but those songs (in this cd/digital age, the first 4 songs) are great.

These guys are still touring. In fact, they are on a 40th anniversary tour of Leftoverture and will be a few towns away later this year:

Looks like only drummer Phil Ehart and guitarist Rich Williams are left from the original group.
I like this album even though Carry On has been a bit overplayed.

I owned this on cassette. Love groups like this (and ELO) where everyone attended Juliard or something like it.
