The Boney 500: Songs 152 and 151

#1 Post by T_Bone0806 » Fri Sep 09, 2016 10:51 am

With the posting of today's two song entries, it's 200 down, 150 to go.

Back with #150 and #149 on Monday. Enjoy your weekend!

152. ANNE-KAYAK (1980)
Album: Periscope Life

Not too many songs in rock history written about Anne Boleyn. Close your eyes and you may see the lords and ladies
of the court dancing the minuet or whatever it was that passed for twerking back in those days.

151. FORTUNATE SON-CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL (1969)
Album: Willy and the Poor Boys

John Fogerty gets his social commentary on and rocks hard while doing so.

Here are the two I went looking for:

Here are some of the others I found:

For lb13:

Does this one count? It's for you!

It has been claimed that this is, too:

I knew the Wakeman cut..had the album/have the cd, but no knowledge of the others. The one set to the Beatles tune was interesting.

Thanks!

Henry VIII had only two of his wives beheaded, but that is still more than most of us.
