I was trying to find a service manual for my car and apparently one of the sites I went to infected my computer with some sort of malware.
I'm getting an uncloseable pop up telling me to call 1-844-307-0971.
I found some instructions online, but there is no application on the list of installed applications that matches.
Windows 7 Professional.

It still wouldn't hurt to download the free version of Malwarebytes and run a scan. They also offer a paid version which will actively prevent you from downloading any future malware.
A child of five would understand this. Send someone to fetch a child of five.
