89. NANTUCKET SLEIGHRIDE-MOUNTAIN (1971)
Their one and only Top 40 hit ("Mississippi Queen") came on their previous album, but I've always preferred this
one overall. It rocks hard, to be sure, usually when Leslie West is in the lead, but Felix Pappalardi's
contributions ("Tired Angels", the title track) are quite melodic and serve as an excellent contrast to West's
crunchers.
