In the interest of fairness, I must report that the Trinity Church is in the process of rewarding Rev. Jeremiah Wright for his years of inspirational sermons by building him a $1.6 million mansion in the Chicago suburb of Tinley Park.

Apparently, Rev. Wright has been able to, at least partially overcome his suspicion and antipathy towards white people, since this suburb is 93% white and only 2% black. He will have to make do on only 10,300 square feet of living space, including an exercise room, an elevator, a butler's pantry, a four-car garage and room for an indoor pool or home theater. If the Rev is a golfer, he's in luck, because the gated subdivision adjoins the Odyssey Country Club. A neighbor called the subdivision, "I think it's where people kind of decide to get away from things."

$155/square foot seems very cheap for such upscale digs. Must be wall to wall shag carpet instead of marble floors.
