RIP Percy Sledge

He lost his battle with cancer.

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB/AP) - Soul musician Percy Sledge, known for the classic 1966 hit "When a Man Loves a Woman" died Tuesday morning at his Baton Rouge home. He was 74 years old.

Sledge joins a growing list of celebrities including Jean Stapleton, Leslie Nielsen, Don Knotts, and Generalissimo Francisco Franco who are, in fact, dead.
