She was a co-creator with her then-husband of the "Supermarionation" concept, primarily with Thunderbirds and Stingray, then moving into live action items - Journey to the Far Side of the Sun, Project UFO and, most notably, Space: 1999. She provided the voice for Lady Penelope (and the puppet was modeled on her) in Thunderbirds.
