Ted Koppel on "Light's Out"

#1 Post by Spock » Tue Mar 08, 2016 2:36 pm

http://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/2 ... /81406674/.

Article on the weaknesses of the grid and a book that Koppel wrote about it.

I can come out of the closet now(LOL) and extend an invitation to the Bored for when TSHTF. I have a commercial generator and essentially unlimited diesel fuel for it.

Power grids fail occasionally all by themselves, so it's no wonder they're so vulnerable to cyber attack.

The company I used to work for sells systems to help electric utilities defend against hackers.

Thanks for the invitation.
