It's back.
ABC is developing a new version of Fantasy Island, with a woman in the role of Roarke and no Tattoo. From what I gather, most of the fantasies that will be indulged will be of the kinky 50 Shades of Gray variety rather than the "I wanted to be in a circus my whole life" variety that Ricardo Montalban dealt with. A late 90's TV reboot with Malcolm McDowell lasted a half season.
NBC is working on a new version of Hart to Hart with a gay couple.

Both sound awful to me.
OTOH, Rizzoli and Isles is awful in some ways, and I watch it every chance I get.
I hope that the new Fantasy Island lasts less than a half season and that the new Hart to Hart has a long run.
