Yesterday's "hook" was that he looked like Jack Nicholson in "The Shining" (I didn't think so). They must have taped this on Casual Friday because yesterday he wore a track suit, today a untucked shirt.

Joe mentioned being a coin collector in his youth; I think he wasted this lifeline considering that he had sussed out the answer.

One of elwing's current viewing pleasures is "Cedar Cove" on the Hallmark Channel. It's based on a series of books by Debbie Macomber and takes place in Washington. There are scenes in Seattle and the Space Needle appears often. I could eliminate this answer for that reason - Hallmark shows aren't big budget productions.

This seemed a fairly easy $100K question.

Seven questions in a half hour seems like a pretty languid pace. Do we really need three episodes to see a contestant's full run?

Yeah, really! I went up to the 100K and used the Switch the Question in under 15 minutes.

The actual answers to the $20,000 and $50,000 questions don't appear in the transcript post. I think I know what they are but I'd appreciate confirmation before I edit. --Bob

I saw this episode. The answers were:
Spoiler
$1 bill and Hollywood sign
I used spoiler tags, but for several months, spoilers have not worked for me, so I don't know what other people see above.

Spoiler tags don't work for me either when I'm logged in to my normal account. I noticed when I log in to the BBTranscriptTeam account, spoiler tags work just fine.

This was the Second Run Episode today where I live. I knew the $100,000 question thanks to watching "The Big Bang Theory". Leonard and Priya say these lines in the episode saying it's from their favorite play. The $50,000 question yesterday about Pepsi was right in my wheelhouse too.
