It is a sobering thought ...

#1 Post by gsabc » Wed Apr 09, 2008 12:09 pm

... that when Mozart was my age, he'd been dead for 18 years.

... that a walk through the ocean of most souls would scarcely get your feet wet.

... that if I keep posting here at my current rate, it would still take me over 18 months before I had as many posts as pea does as of right now.

... that I've been hanging around with you folks for over 8 years now. (Sobering or scary. I can't decide which.)

Thanks for putting up with me.

I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

I missed the memo. Why is this called the Raspberry Bored?

Because if you try to say PHPBB it would sound like you are making the sound people say is a raspberry.

Or a Bronx cheer, I think.

gsabc actually gets credit for coining that name when we were discussing what to name it, back at the end of November.
The Raspberry Bored. Isn't "PHPBB" the sound of a raspberry/Bronx cheer?

It's Uly's latest avatar that has piqued my interest. I hope there's a fascinating "back story".
