A whole generation of men whose African conservation careers spanned both sides of Indepence is now passing on. I am currently reading the "Selous"(The Wild Heart of Africa)" book mentioned in the article. I may have to check out the :Sand Rivers (Peter Mathiesson) book mentioned in the article.
