walnut recall
Salmonella. I missed hearing this. Plane deliberate-crash news may have had something to do about that. I will have to find a store selling walnuts packaged the old-fashioned way, in their darn shell. What a concept. Haven't seen those around here since the fall. Haven't seen hazelnuts at all, except some Italian shelled & roasted ones, which were sadly lacking in my opinion & surprise.

Aha. The TJ's info person said it was walnuts in general, but the web says its a distributer that TJ's & Giant Foods, which last we don't have around here uses, so I should be able to find them elsewhere.
