Sam Simon, co-creator of "The Simpsons", passed away 3/8/15 at age 59.
On two occasions he was Drew Carey's PAF (sounds like Phone-a-Room based on the response) on Celebrity WWTBAM.

He was always behind the scenes on "The Simpsons," but I remember enjoying his contributions to the conversation when the cast appeared on "Inside the Actors Studio" with James Lipton.
