Isn't the internet wonderful
I just learned that Stevie is not lauding a Chevrolet in "Don't You Worry 'Bout a Thing", he is saying "todo este bien chevere", which is said to mean "its all cool".

But I also learned the Mamas & Papas are singing "you know the preacher likes it cold" in "California Dreaming" which I won't believe for a minute until I find it in an actual printed songbook. I thought they were singing "you know the preacher locks his door", because the preacher didn't *want* John Phillips to stay. Would you?

Sounds more like "the preacher likes the cold" to me.
