I GOT THE CALL!
Actually, I got the e-mail.
An agent from a major NYC literary agency is interested in The Memory Box. She and the owner of the agency want to talk with me on Monday. From what I've heard this is typically to make sure the author is not a raving lunatic.
No one ever said I was raving.
Folks, it must have been the major vibage you bestowed upon me and NYC last December and I thank you for that.
It's not a done deal (they may want me to make some plot changes before accepting) but it's a good deal.
I kept sending it out because the rejections didn't really bother me. Future wallpaper.
Never give up. Never surrender. I've heard that somewhere...
I'll let you know how the chat goes on Monday. If you look up and see my feet sticking out of the clouds, please pull me down gently.
And, yes, I will breathe.
PM me if you want more details.
