Former “Jeopardy!” champion Ken Jennings will be featured as a contestant on “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” on Friday, November 14 and Monday, November 17, 2014. Jennings will take on the challenge as part of Millionaire’s Guinness World Records Edition theme week as he is the “Former Guinness World Records Title-Holder for the Largest Cash Prize Won on a TV Game Show.” (He currently remains the second-highest-earning contestant in U.S. game show history.)
So are they inviting the former title-holder without giving the current title-holder a chance to defend the his ranking?*
*Not that there aren't a few of who are still waiting for a
first appearance on a TV game show...

And, yes, I left spoiler information about his carry-over appearance in the quote. If TPTB don't care about the spoiler (or actually relish the publicity), why should I care?

Will he get the same questions as normal contestants such as:
In Pitbull's 2013 hit song, Kesha sings, "It's going down, I'm yelling" what?
Which sitcom teamed with OPI to create a line of nail polish, including the colors "Candid Cameron" and "I Do De-Claire!"?
Which of the following is not an actual menu item at Guy Fieri's Vegas Kitchen and Bar?
I wonder how he'll/he'd do with those types of questions, and the 1 strike and you're out type of play. Winning Jeopardy is about know more answers than your opponents, not necessarily knowing all the answers.

Ding!
Seriously, KJ is chosen as much for his "likeable nerd" personality & because he makes himself available for these things as much as for any other reason, I feel.
If KJ wins the mill on his show(s), does he get to keep it?

It wouldn't have surprised me one bit to find out he knew all three of those answers cold.

I did, and I"m nowhere near KJ's trivia prowess.

You're all much better than I am. I'd have needed the choices on the Guy Fieri question to have stood a chance....

Hope you're just messing with me, lb. I was, of course, assuming that the choices were thrown in on these. And of those three, the Modern Family one is the only one you can't reason out from the choices, and Modern Family has been running for six seasons and has been one of the highest-rated shows on television. There are much better examples of WWOQs from this season alone.

Ken is actually very good at pop culture trivia.

I knew the Pitbull and probably worked out the nail polish one.
Is a choice on the Guy Fieri menu "Bleached Dick with Backward Sunglasses"? Otherwise, I got nuttin'.

It's been a few years since a game has straddled Friday into Monday on WWTBAM, I think this is the first time they've done so in the current shuffle format. THis will be airing concurrently with the J! TofC which airs 11/10-11/21.

I wonder if they got KJ's kid to appear on Quiz the Kids week and added him as a bonus.
I'm just a game show nerd.
