Those of you (all two of you) who read my blog probably know that I've spent the last four months of Fridays re-telling my WWTBAM story in what is turning into the longest epic since wintergreen's last post, but one which has my modest following over there on the edge of their seat. Next week's edition will feature the part of rehearsal where we took Fastest Finger practice. I made note of the five questions my group was asked, but have no idea of what any of the choices were on four of those questions (or in some cases, even what the actual question itself was). Since I know these questions were re-used over and over again in pre-taping rehearsal, I'm hoping some people out there may have remembered (or better yet, recorded for posterity at the time) the missing details of these questions...
The five my group received (I was part of a two-taping day) were:
1. Money in order of value (No clue on any of the choices)
2. Units of length in order (Don't know any of the choices, though I noted that three were basic American units of length and one was a metric unit. This was the only time my name ever flashed on WWTBAM's big board, so obviously this is the question I'm most interested in having the full details of.)
3. Parts of a bee (I'm assuming location top to bottom, but I didn't even write that down. I did, however, note that SSS [Whose story he posted on the Bored just before his appearance is what inspired me to write what I'm drawing all these memories from] mentioned that his entire RoF missed this question... whereas my RoF all got this one correct... so maybe he can supply some missing info on this...)
4. The title "Lord of the Flies" in order... hey, at least I have full details on one!
5. Liquids in order of acidity (No clue on the choices...)
Any and all help in making my story more complete will be greatly appreciated by this greying squirrel...

I have no memory of any of these in rehearsal, but wanted you to know I did read your post.

What Skoop said. Only one I remember at all was men's articles of clothing, head to foot - with no recollection of the items in question. (Coincidentally, that was the one practice FF that I won...)Ritterskoop wrote:I have no memory of any of these in rehearsal, but wanted you to know I did read your post.

I figured it was worth a shot. I guess I can just make stuff up since I'm pretty good at that anyway....

Re: Attention Primetime BAM Alumni!
I have no idea, and I was there that day. Seems like they used to like to ask about unusual units like leagues, fathoms and furlongs. I remember the question I reached the hot seat on, but I'd have to find a transcript to recall the actual show questions that I lost the FF on, and I sure can't recall any of the practice ones. Maybe someone blogged about their experience around that time and maybe Google could find that, but I didn't. What I do recall is that the people who did well on the rehearsal questions weren't the same people who did well on the real show.

I don't recall any of the questions we had during the practice FF sessions. All I remember is that one person was the fastest every time. He's the one who got into the Hot Seat just before me and flamed out on the $2K question.
