You guys were in the ballpark on a couple of these.

1. 4TH: OHNO / 3D: SMITH / 2D: LACHEY / 1ST: MONACO

First four celebrity champions of "Dancing with the Stars".

2. CHELLINI MADONNA (PURPLE) / SCHOOL OF ATHENS (RED) / VITRUVIAN MAN (BLUE) / (e.g.) PIETA (ORANGE)

Chellini Madonna was a work by Donatello. School of Athens was a work by Raphael. Vitruvian Man was a work by Leonardo da Vinci. Pieta was one of many answers I could have accepted to represent Michelangelo. Looks easy now, doesn't it?

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (optionally paired with their eye mask colors).

3. TUTTI FRUTTI / ROCK-A-BEATIN' BOOGIE / ROCK AROUND THE CLOCK / IN THE MOOD

Another reverse sequence, but this one was impossible if you have never heard the medley that included these four songs.

Reverse order of songs that feature in Jive Bunny & the Mastermixers' 1990 hit "Swing the Mood".

4. BARKER / BURNETT / BESSELL / (e.g.) GHOSTLEY

Surnames that represent the movie title "Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice".

5. AGE OF WISDOM / AGE OF FOOLISHNESS / EPOCH OF BELIEF / EPOCH OF INCREDULITY

Everybody knows the phrase that comes before these four phrases, though.

Phrases succeeding "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times" in Dickens' A Tale of Two Cities.

6. HEPTAMETER / BEE GEES / OFFICE CHAIR / (e.g.) POOL TABLE

Another question with myriad possible answers.

Seven feet, six feet, five feet, four feet.

7. STAN MUSIAL / BOBBY MORROW / JOHNNY PODRES / ROGER BANNISTER

First four Sports Illustrated Sportsmen of the Year in reverse chronological order.

8. MALIK / PAYNE / STYLES / TOMLINSON

I didn't know the answer to this question, either. That's because I'm not the father of any teenage daughters. All of my kids are boys.

Surnames of the members of One Direction in alphabetical order. I left out the surname that came first in alphabetical order, which is Horan.

9. MAKALU / LHOTSE / KANGCHENJUNGA / K2

I think the problem here was that all of you thought this sequence started with the fourth tallest mountain in the world. I actually started with #5.

Fifth, fourth, third, and second tallest mountains on Earth. Not counting underwater mountains, of course. We're not opening that can of worms. :D

Picture #1 was pretty easy. That was Karen Carpenter. Picture #2 was a bit tougher. That was "Hairspray" actress Nikki Blonsky. Picture #3 was impossible to recognize, even though it was somebody whose name has been mentioned on the Bored before. That was our old buddy Jerzy Trela from my very first Tangredi game.

A billion different pictures could be acceptable for filling in this blank. Hugh Laurie as Dr. House would have been my choice, but a picture of any house was just as good.

Surnames of the first four million-dollar winners on WWTBAM.

6/16 + 6/17 Scores (6 participants)
Bob Juch - 24 + 40 = 64
Bob78164 - 4 + 20 = 24
franktangredi - 8 + 8 = 16
kroxquo - 8 + 4 = 12
smilergrogan - 4 + 8 = 12
jarnon - 0 + 8 = 8
