Early this Father’s Day morning, our dad Casey Kasem passed away surrounded by family and friends. Even though we know he is in a better place and no longer suffering, we are heartbroken. Thank you for all your love, support and prayers. The world will miss Casey Kasem, an incredible talent and humanitarian; we will miss our Dad.

Sad to hear, but he was obviously not in good health. I hope he didn't realize what was going on around him with his family recently.
I remember when AT40 first came on, and remember his voices on the cartoons of the day -- Norville Rodgers, aka "Shaggy" on Scooby Doo Where Are You?, Robin on both the Filmation version of Batman as well as on most incarnations of H-B's Superfriends, and Alexander, the band manager on Josie and the Pussycats.
Rest in peace.
