Burying the headline

#1 Post by jarnon » Mon Mar 31, 2014 6:32 pm

The two most interesting stories on tonight's ABC World News (IMHO) were at the end of the show:

The Holy Grail has been located

Yes, the ancient chalice, celebrated in literature, opera and cinema, has been identified, and verified by radiocarbon dating.

Today is the 50th anniversary of Jeopardy!

I learned some stuff about the show that I didn't know (or maybe forgot).

Could be they broadcast it today, so they'll have more time tomorrow to report on the big story: "MarleysGh0st joins Facebook."

If that's the cup then Walter Donovan did not "choose poorly".

I'm skeptical - even if the cup could be shown to date to the 1st century that's a far cry from establishing it as the Grail.

The actual Grail is made of agate and sits inside the ornate chalice of onyx and gold.
