Observations Backlog 703 - Catercorner
I once inadvertently almost got into political trouble by placing a campaign sign catercorner to the house of a neighbor down the street, but it turned out that she meant "across the street," not "catercorner," and fortunately, the person who didn't want the sign simply returned it and graciously accepted my apology.
