Mark Dixon

#1 Post by TheConfessor » Fri Feb 07, 2014 3:55 am

I had an unexpected visit by lapsed Boardie Mark Dixon tonight. He's in town to visit his son and together they will compete in the Great Urban Race on Saturday.

We had a great time seeing some of the sights, chatting up the locals, and keeping each other out of trouble. It's sad to think of how many good people like him have drifted away over the years.

I don't recall the name; what was his handle?

I believe he posted under the name 'markdixon'. Probably the only BB in our history who donated a kidney to another BB.

I hope he reconnects. As I recall, his handle began with mcd and then some numbers. --Bob

I got to meet him and the recipient in NYC at one of the gatherings. Great fun!

He won the Fastest Finger round on the 8/25/1999 episode of WWTBAM, same night Michael Schutterley won $500K. He won $32K on WWTBAM on 8/26/1999. I think he was on J! in the early 90s and won a game.

Try July 9, 2012 (Profiles are often terrible at actually tracking last logins)...

He was a frequent occupant of Marley's cellar, always waiting until the last LSWE game to chime in with one answer....
