exercise in futility

#1 Post by a1mamacat » Fri Jan 17, 2014 10:29 pm

Java is frantically "playing the bongo" on James's bedroom door. Has been for about 15 minutes.

James is at work

My cats prefer to lick the bongo rather than "play" it....

I don't know how effective licking a door would be.

My cat licks my bedroom window. Furiously. Like there is something really good he's getting from there. It would make some kind of sense if he was outside, licking where the rain had hit, or something. But he is inside, 'cause he's an inside cat (although his opinion on this differs; I guess I can count chasing him back upstairs as part on my new mandated exercise regimen).

I have never referred to my window as "the bongo".

I don't either, but when he is beating on the door with his paws, it is reminiscent of hippie bongo players in my youth
