Christopher Hollowell
Brooklyn, NY
Cedric looks around the audience, to give one person a chance to win $1,000. He points towards the back row and chooses a young man in a bow tie.
Christoper is going to see what would have been Sanjeev's next question, worth $250,000. For Christopher, it's worth $1,000.
$1,000 Question
What director's professional career began at age 16, when he sold his photo of a news vendor reacting to FDR's death to "Look" magazine for $25?
A: Alfred Hitchcock B: Martin Scorsese
C: Orson Welles D: Stanley Kubrick
Christopher takes a guess: Martin Scorsese.
D: Stanley Kubrick
There's no mention of a consolation prize.

Hitchcock and Welles were already established in 1945 (at least I think they were)? Scorsese seems a little young.
