I'm an enabler

#1 Post by Beebs52 » Sat Mar 15, 2008 2:58 pm

I hit Target this morning to pick up some duds for my niece's newly-adopted arrived-home from Russia baby! She's beautiful and in a happy home and won't die in an orphanage. Maybe I'll post more about that later.

Anyway, I also bought Merv the Cat a leopard-print mouse that you fill up with catnip. It has a velcro enclosure at the top to contain the 'nip. As I filled the mouse from the test tube filled with catnip that came from it, I felt odd. It just looked weird.

But, be that as it may, Merv has been enjoying the mouse and his new snazzy collar and is sleeping it off.
Well, then

Pictures. Pictures. Catnip inspires funny pictures.

I was going to try catnip once, but I couldn't get it lit.

He's still napping. He's a good napper. We've been trying to take some more pics. When I get a decent one or two I'll change my avatar. However, I'll change it to one of a sleeping Merv, right now.

Cute picture! I haven't had a cat yet that even looked twice at catnip.
What's up with that?? May they're like Annie and thought they had to light it.

Dudes. Catnip is natural, man. Don't adulterate it with, like, matches and stuff.

I think the cat has to be older to appreciate it.

My cats love it. Jasper climbed into a cabinet a few weeks ago and knocked it down so that he, Lucy and Lily could all share.

But did they inhale?

They inhaled and ate it.

Would you PM me an address to send a simple baby quilt to? I have a couple of finished tops I could make one of them into a quilt quickly. They are very simple but colorful.

I could send it to you and you could forward it.

Quilts made with love keep babies warmer than any other blankets!

What a sweet thing to do! I'd be more than happy to send a little something as well. Is she still an infant? Did anyone give a shower before she left?
