Holy crapola!!

#1 Post by Tocqueville3 » Fri Mar 07, 2008 8:42 pm

David says it is snowing outside. I must put on my slippers and robe and venture out.

Of course, when we left northern Indiana and moved to central Mississippi I said I'd be happy if I never saw another flipping snowflake ever again.

HehHeh!

There was snow north of here in Huntsville today.

I said the same thing when I moved from Wisconsin from whence I originate. It will be too soon when I see substantial amounts of snow about me where I live.
Well, then

We have about 5 inches so far I think. About 7 more projected between now and tomorrow afternoon. Yay.

Yesterday, according to the radar, it was snowing for hours here.

Fortunately, it melted and evaporated before it ever reached the ground. Farther south and east, it was (and may still be) very messy.

We just got rain.

More rain to come.

How very cool it snowed in Mississippi.

There's something very bizarre about Mississippi and Alabama getting snow when we're not here. Our forecast is for a mixture of rain and freezing rain all day. Then snow tonight, when the temperature drops.

Doesn't look like the ice accumulations are too bad yet, but I'd much rather stick with our usual snow.

Full on blizzard conditions for most of the day here. Just started gaining some visibility back a couple of hours ago. Couldn't see the house two doors down for a long time. Drifts on our deck are over my knees. The puppy made tunnels in the snow. Isaac is sickly and has been in all day. Maybe tomorrow is 7 foot tall snowman day.

And let's see a photo of snow-tunneling puppy, too, please! :)
