Amy Schneider
New York City, NY

Amy is a nice Jewish lady whose favorite holiday is Christmas. She's wearing a Christmas tree pin. Growing up all her friends had trees but she didn't. They grew tired of decorating their trees and Amy would come over and beg them to let her do it. She'd work furiously on the trees while her friends sat back and relaxed. Amy's wife Phyllis asks every year if they can get a tree but their apartment is too small. So if Amy wins the million she's going to get a big apartment and a big tree right in the middle. Phyllis is in the audience along with two young women. Amy calls them her "game show gang" because every day they play Millionaire together and also Jeopardy! Meredith cringes and says, "Don't mention that show."

I'm pretty sure you would not need to be a sports fan to figure out #4, but I guess all normal thought processes go out the window when you set foot on that stage, don't they?

This was a very rare stack in which I would not have needed a lifeline for the first ten questions (I have not seen any of the Twilight movies, but there are some things from which there is no escape), but I most likely would have had to settle for the $68,600.

As her "I just got it" indicated, she only needed to pause for a few moments to see the clues in the question.

This was a magical stack for me too. I'd have had $100,000 with all three lifelines still in hand. Not that it matters unless they actually let me on the show. --Bob

Har, har, Meredith. That's akin to not mentioning the Regis version of BAM.

OK, it's process of elimination unless you know Grant's wife's name. $35 is a $20 (Rachel) and 3 $5s (Mary). Nope. $70 is 3 $20s and 2 $5s. Nope. $310 would be 3 $100s (Franklin wasn't a president) and 2 $5s. Nope. That only leaves $160.

No idea, but I still have all my lifelines so I'll use a JTQ here.
