Well, on NBC it wouldn't be boring because they would only show you 30 seconds but in reality it is hour after hour of one horse and rider after another doing a flat (no jumps) course in exactly the same pattern over and over and over and over and over......

Race is delayed while they airlift an injured skier from the course. Apparently NBC and ESPN are already reporting that the medals have been won. Not exactly accurate until the last 9 skiers race. None of them has much of a chance but media should not report medals won.

I think uphill curling would be even less boring. The comedic factor would be greater than the excitement of the speed of downhill curling.
