E. The O'Reilly Factor for Kids... no, wait, that's a toilet paper book.
BBTranscriptTeam wrote:$12.5K (Primates):

A. Gibbon B. Gorilla
C. Orangutan D. Chimpanzee
I couldn't remember if gibbons are smaller than chimpanzees. I also would've Double Dipped to hedge my bets.
BBTranscriptTeam wrote:$25K (State Slogans):

A. Mexican War B. World War I
C. Spanish-American War D. U.S. Civil War
I knew that Nevada did not become a state before 1850 or after 1912, so that eliminated A and B. Here's another one of those questions where it helps for me to have the state quarters collection hanging up on one of the walls in my bedroom. Without looking at the quarters, I had to visualize when the Nevada quarter came out. I know Colorado became a state in 1876, and the Nevada quarter came before the Colorado quarter, so that left D as the correct answer.

Clear sailing to 25K. Haven't done that in a while.

Thank you Harry Turtledove and the state quarters.

One thing is certain - the "regular" contestants are certainly getting less emphasis even as Meredith claims "it's all about" them.
