This was the first of the "reindeer games" that were played at my office party/teambuilding exercise. The employees divided up into three-person teams to try and answer these. None of the teams got them all right (I did, but I wasn't allowed on a team).

I disagree with some of the choices made to "obfuscate" the titles, but this is what we were given.

True, but the title as "obfuscated" would simply be "Man of Snow"; no mention of "Frosty" (the same reason I have a problem with "Ancient Benevolent Despot" not mentioning Wenceslaus). And "tin" is not the equivalent of "silver" in #20.Jeemie wrote:Why quibble with 15?

Oh, so that one was was Good King Wenceslas. I thought the other clues were okay, since "crystalized vapor" suggests frost as well as snow, and tin bells would have a silvery color. But where is the "Ancient" in Good King Wenceslas? Jolly Old Saint Nicholas is just about as good a fit for "Ancient Benevolent Despot."
